SOCIAL STUDIES

Social Studies at Goodwill School helps students understand the world they live in by connecting the past, present, and future. Through the study of History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, students develop a deeper appreciation of cultures, societies, governance, and the environment while building the knowledge and skills needed to become informed and responsible citizens.
Our approach goes beyond textbook learning by encouraging inquiry, discussion, map work, project-based activities, research, and real-world connections. Students are inspired to think critically, analyse events, respect diverse perspectives, and understand their role in shaping a better society. Interactive classroom experiences, educational resources, and collaborative learning make Social Studies both engaging and meaningful.
At Goodwill School, we believe Social Studies is not just about learning facts—it is about developing global awareness, civic responsibility, ethical values, and the confidence to make informed decisions in an interconnected world.
